Vinyl Transfers to CD
We have a passion for vinyl and believe in the richness
of its reproduction. For our transfers, we use a Thorens
TD-125 MK II turntable fitted with a Shure V15vXMR cartridge.
Audiophiles are well versed in this cartridge and turntable.
We make it a necessary point to clean everything to guarantee
the cleanest transfer possible and to protect our equipment.
We then record at 24-bit/48 kHz using Pro Tools. The raw
audio files are then visually checked for any artifacts
and subsequently processed using various plugins and tools,
including many from Waves (www.waves.com).
We do NOT make any EQ adjustments or alter the original
signal beyond recording and maximizing sound levels for
an enjoyable listening experience.
Cassette / Reel to
Reel Transfers to CD
We are also well versed in the transfer of your cassette
and reel tapes to CD. A little known fact about tape decks
(this is more true with cassette decks) are that they are
all aligned just a little bit differently. What does this
mean? Well, your tape may sound different as you listen
to it on different units because the position of the recording
heads may not be aligned the same as the playback head wherever
you listen to it. Therefore, we make it a point to adjust
the azimuth of our Nakamichi decks to match your tape as
best as possible to guarantee the highest quality of transfer.
VHS / Photos / Etc.

one of a kind, out of print VHS tapes. For more information
